Of course I would donate…it is for a greater good.
However, I do not really believe in donating money. Normally, I would donate my time & necessities to the less fortunate. Cos’ I have seen cases where donations are being subjected to misused or abuse (either by the people collecting or the needy families themselves).
Therefore, I normally contribute my free time doing community service / enrichment projects and purchase essentials items (e.g. milk powder, sugar, flour, salt, noodles, rice, toothpaste, soap, towels…etc etc…) to donate.
There are different ways to help make this society a better place to live in…as long as everyone do their part.

it depends ,if it is going directly to them alot,if people such as goodwills ect get their cuts none cause little to none of the money goes where it is needed,
myself I stop by a place where homeless people life and give them clothes I picked up at a rummage sale or a ham ,turkey any type of food.
you just have to be sure of what you can afford and where it is going
