Who could I email about donating a kidney in Lafayette, Louisiana?

I live in Lafayette, Louisiana and I’d like to make a kidney donation to a specific person living in Lafayette, Louisiana. Who can I email about this in order to start the tests and stuff to see if I’m compatible? The person doesn’t know about this.

What do you think about gay people donating blood?

I’m having a debate with my roommate. He says they should not be able to give blood because they are high risk. He thinks ensuring the health of people is more important than being politically correct.

I say it is flat out discrimination. They are basing these rules on assumptions and ignorant stereotypes.

What are your opinions about a young person donating an organ?

I know a 20yr old who wants to donate a kidney to 25yr old friend.
The twenty year old is a match, and her kidneys currently function at 100%.
The twenty-five year old is in renal failure. (by no fault of her own–she was born with undersized kidneys)

I’ve heard objections because the potential donor is taking a lot of risk, especially at such a young age. Just for reference, she probably will have children in the future

How can I go about getting donations to go back to school?

It isn’t as easy as getting financial aid. I attend a school that isn’t funded by the state but I love this school and I’m learning a lot. I had to discontinue education because I cannot continue to pay. How can I go about getting donations? Can I start a website? Put an add out? What? Please explain HOW to do certain things that you list. Thanks a lot!

When banks want a letter of explanation about past financial difficulties, how thorough do we need to be?

I’ve applied for a mortgage loan and the bank wants a letter to explain why I filed bankruptcy 2 years ago. Obviously I filed because of financial difficulties, but how much information do they want? What do they want to hear exactly?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
