I’ve been looking for the website saying how many ppl are saved by donations, but they only talk about how many ppl are dying in a day.
how many ppl are actually saved by donations and which websites should i look up????

I’d like to start donating money to a charity that focuses on Africa or the Middle East but want to make sure that the money I donate is accounted for and goes directly to the family. My friend in Denmark contributes to a charity where the sponsor child and family writes to tell you what the money was spent on. Does something like this exist in the US, and is it credible? Thanks

The recent financial melt down has had an impact on the global economy. How will South Africa fare?
I am doing a mini dissertation on this topic. I was thinking of dividing it into 3 sections: 1- The Origin of the financial meltdown and its impact on global economies / 2- How will it impact South Africa / 3- How will South Africa fare?
Could anyone help me with any ideas/tips? thanks

In some countries in Africa When Mothers can not pay their Materinty bills the infants are detained at the hospital, where they are poorly cared for. Or somtimes the Mother is not admitted to begin with (true with many medical conditions)
I have been looking for a non-profit organization that takes donations to help cover the costs, but I haven’t had luck. Any Suggestions, or does anyone know a place where you can check groups to make sure they are legit?

I have heard that much of the justification for giving to charity ,especially for medical charities in Africa,or to countries ravaged by disease in Africa,is finacial.It is said that saving a child is a financial positive…in other words..It costs the planet or country less to save the child than it does to let it die.What is the detail behind this argument or position?

I am going to Uganda this summer and I am looking to get donations from businesses. Do you know of businesses that would be willing to donate to something like this? I don’t really know where to start!
