I have a charity running team, and we run to raise money for the families of wounded troops. I have contacted tons of local businesses and cannot seem to get anyone really interested. I have raised $500.00 total and that falls well short of my goal… Is it due to a lack of service or commodity? What kind of target companies should I be looking for? I am new to all this kind of thing and would love some help or constructive criticism.

My dad and I want to staart monthly donatting to a major charity orginazation. I was wondering if there were any child sponsership orginazations that sponser kids in the US. Orginazations as big as St. Judes but then again orginazations that need help. We are interested in Kids, Cancer, Animals, etc…

I am riding in a 62 mile bicycle ride for diabetes.
I have a goal of $500 to give to the American Diabetes Association and will pay the amount I can’t get sponsored for.
What are clever ways to get people to sponsor me in this ride and help the cause?

I work in a retail store where we collect donations for kids in the area but this year it has been harder than ever to collect donations and that is even with coupons for every donation…
I hate putting pressure on customers but it is also my job…
any suggestions?

I’m a part of a committee putting together an event in downtown Mpls. in Sept to raise money for People Serving People, a homeless shelter downtown. I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas or any connections to help me solicit silent auction items for the event.
