I do tax consulting so Iam thinking of combining my tax practice, with some financial services, and products like insurance and maybe eventually mutualfunds or loans and some financial planning its a long trip down the road but persistence and focus would hopefully help. if people have some good adviced or ideas i would always welcome them.

this might sound weird but I have 300 dollars that I want to donate or do something nice with but Im worried about it actualy helping someone. if I donate it to charity it might just fund the company and if I just give it to someone then they might by drugs or something with. I want to find a way to do something special for people or someone that needs it.

It’s a much more small scale donation thing than most companies want to deal with. (only about 20 students)
I am putting together welcome bags for a group of German exchange students who are coming to our school this fall. I need things like candy, maps, little trinkets, etc. to put in them… (And the bags themselves)
Where are some good places to ask?
Oh… I am in minnesota if that makes a difference.

Due to financial hardship, I have gotten behind with my FHA mortgage loan. I have been in constant contact with the financial institute who has my note and they won’t help me until I am able to make my payment for three consecutive months. If I were able to make the payment, I wouldn’t need the help. Does anyone have some experience with this type of situation and can give me some constructive advice?
