I recently applied for financial aid and was denied. What other types of help are out there? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am currently a student at a community college, and will be transferring to a university in the fall of 2010. I also receive financial aid. Do students who attend university( I know the tuition is higher there) receive more financial aid than students who attend a community college?

I donated blood on October 1st. The local swim team is having a blood drive fundraiser on the 18th and I’d like to donate. What is the worst that could happen? Also is there anything I can eat or do to help my body recover from the last donation faster? Thanks!
