Well, I have found that my non-running car is not worth fixing. I would like to donate it but how does that work? My father has to pay taxes and has been pressing me to sign the car over to him so he can get the deduction. I do not have to pay taxes at the end of the year so would it even benefit me if I donate it?

Hi. I’m the director of a performing arts non-profit group. We’re currently creating our sponsorship information packets. We’ve brainstormed some ideas and I listed them below. My question to you is as a business what are you looking for in return (if anything) from the group you are donating to. Are there any other reasons that would make you offer your business donation to one group over another? Thank you so much!
Our current ideas are:
-Your business logo featured in all printed marketing materials for our show, including newspaper ads, brochures, and show posters.
-Full page ad in our show program
-Your logo and a link to your website from our website
-Block of 20 tickets to our performance
-Recognition of your business in our Lobby before, during, and after all 5 performances.

I have had some financial problems the last year, like so many others. My question is, how do you catch up after falling behind on your bills? Is there an article or something to help you figure that out? Credit card companies keep adding on late fees which take you into an over the limit fee which just keeps adding to your debt. I can not afford the payment that they are wanting to bring it current. What is the answer?

I was wondering if they check for marijuana when donating plasma (I was told this)
I have given blood (red cross) numberous times and was never check or asked about using marijuana.
It just don’t make sense why they would check if donating plasma and not when donating whole blood.

I just read recently that Leonardo Dicaprio donated $1million dollars to relief efforts in Haiti. I’m pretty sure that would be like me donating 10 bucks. I know a million is a lot, but it’s not like he was sacrificing anything to help out.

The requirement is 38%
Percent of what? I asked twice and all I got is that it’s very high and FDA regulated so you don’t pass out after donating blood. Nobody I asked seemed to know what it really meant. Or didn’t feel like explaining. 38% of WHAT is iron? Is 38% of your blood supposed to be made of hemoglobin? Is 38% if your hemoglobin made of iron? I highly doubt that 38% of your blood is supposed to be made of iron…

What I mean is that, in any financial companies like AXA financial or Metlife, if they offer you the job as a financial advisor, is it possible to negotiate with them about my starting date? For example, if they offer me a job right now, will they accept if I could start on a specific date like weeks or a month from now for some important reasons I will tell them?
