What are the financial benefits of being married to a person in the army?

1

I’m engaged to someone in the army, and we need help figuring out what the financial benefits are for each of us. I asked this question in the “military” section before, but the only answers I got were “what are you a welfare leech?” and “only the Man you are marrying should matter”.

I’m trying to get information so we can better understand all of this…please help me!

At a certain point the two of you will be eligible for free government housing and a subsistence allowance. His or her platoon leader or company adjutant can refer the two of you to the office that has the specifics – all you have to do is ask.
