What Are The Risks Associated With Donating Plasma?

I donate blood regularly and I was wondering how different donating plasma is?
Are there any risks involved with it?
I could use the extra cash to fill up the gas tank.

If you are in a developed country, there is little risk in donation because the hypodermic needles are not reused. The only risk I can imagine is a light headed feeling for a short time after donation.
