What financial risks a company faces when it decides to expand abroad?
Hello, could you please tell me what financial risks does a company face when it decides to expand abroad? I’ve been trying to research on google about it, but haven’t found anything, please help me.

consider this, geo-political risk, for example if you are doing business in Iran, China much greater risk than Japan or India.
For example, if china decide closed their border, just like the light switch, everything you invest will be lost. The same with Iran, can you handle Amoud amaninejad?
Or can you invest in Somalia when pirate and AK-47 on the street?
long distance, transportation,logistic,language barrier?
